Wet

We have gone from frozen precipitation to heavy rain in just a few days. The ground is saturated. On the up side, the ducks love it! This is our front yard and drive way. We went from winter storm warnings to flood warnings. Never a dull moment! :—)
We did venture out today despite the rain. We wanted soup so went to a quaint little place that serves wonderful potato soup. On the way home, 4 OTTERS crossed the road in front of us causing Johnny to gasp and hit his brakes. We barely missed them! We would have been heartbroken to have hurt them! They dove off into a flooded creek. We spent some time looking but didn’t see them again. I have never seen them in the wild. Johnny saw one on our creek years ago bc it got into a fight with one of our dogs. They are amazing creatures! That was our treat for today!!
