Kiloran Bay, Colonsay

A day trip to Colonsay gave us plenty exercise as the minibus which is normally available was being used for a school trip! We walked from the ferry to Colonsay House where we enjoyed the gardens and excellent coffee/tea & cake! Thus fortified, we continued on to Kiloran Bay - reputedly one of the most beautiful in Britain (and rightly so). The colours of the sea and sand were amazing and the waves huge! We could have watched them for much longer but daren't miss the ferry back as there wasn't another one for three days!
