Aconites

Popped into Redhall Woods after work, the snowdrops and aconites growing on a South facing slope were looking beautiful.
So nice to have decent weather today, it made for a very good forest school session.  We did the Big Bird Watch, see extra. We ticked off a good many types of birds.
Also at the end of the session ate shortbread and sang lots of Scots rhymes. I think most children were having Haggis tonight.
Off to the allotment now.
