A wee bit of tartan for Burns Night

This is the carpet in our hall and dining room.
Thought it appropriate for Burns Night and for AbstractThursday on the theme of patterns. With thanks to Ingeborg for hosting. 
Haggis, neeps and tatties with a pepercorn sauce will be on the menu tonight and no doubt a wee dram too!
And before the meal we'll say the Selkirk Grace
Some hae meat an canna eat,
And some wad eat that want it;
But we hae meat, and we can eat,
And sae the Lord be thankit.
