Wiggles
Thursday walking group today. B had scared herself with the length of last week's walk, so today was very short and local -- not even 4 km. We did climb up to a viewpoint from which we could appreciate the monoculture though. I like the way the road wiggles through the middle. See the extra for the medium in which the vines grow -- not very hospitable for anything else.
You could easily think it was spring were it not for the bare vines -- we walked in T-shirts and saw several red admirals that had obviously been woken up by the balmy weather. I was surprised not to be able to blip almond blossom, but it won't be long -- buds everywhere. There were only five of us, but we had a nice walk and chat. Stats: 3.8 km, 57 m climbing, 1 1/4 hours. Fitbit says I have clocked up 10,000 steps.
