Equus Altus

The 'High Horse' created by Scottish artist, Andy Scott to mark the opening of the Trinity Mall in Leeds.  It's a packhorse to reflect the importance of wool and textiles in the industrial history of the city.  

We walked down to catch the train to Leeds this morning to pick up a few items.  I have been trying to find a waterproof running jacket for less than silly money, not easy.  We picked out a route which took in several running shops; John Lewis for a pan (no pan but bath sheets purchased!) the Lego store, dropped off pods for recycling in Nespresso and Waterstones, with a pause for lunch at Pret somewhere in the mix.  No running jacket sadly but the very helpful chap in Up and Running suggested several alternatives, none of which were in his shop.  Excellent customer service and I have now ordered one reduced by 80% to a sensible price.
