a tree within a tree

as a child, I remember reading a story about two lovers who were turned into trees that, as they grew taller, became more intertwined. I may not be remembering the story exactly, but this just reminded me of it.

one would think that one of the trees would have to die, but they both are growing together just fine. another reason to smile at life today.

all in all my quest for belief hasn't gotten much of anywhere quite yet. but I'll be patient. I have time to figure things out. I'd rather have it take a while anyhow...it's better to have true beliefs than just believe in something because it is merely convenient.
