A dark day

I'n not sure how long these Primulas(?) have been out on display, but I noticed them for the first time today.
This flash of colour was a welcome break from the abysmal weather and the more abysmal news that my car probably needs a new engine.

Hmmm, coming at exatly the wrong time, I'll have to think about what to do.
