A long and busy day today. My friend Sally & her husband were running the 10k in Gateshead this morning and then had tickets to attend the athletics at Gateshead Stadium so EP & I were looking after their 7 month old daughter for the day. She is a happy & contented wee soul and so it was a real pleasure of a day. We decided to have a day at Beamish Outdoor Museum as there is so much to see & lots of entertainment for children. The weather played it's part too as there were a number of incredibly heavy showers & a thunder storm on the way home. Some of the old fashioned advertising at the museum is just amazing. I noticed these adverts on some sheds in the Pit Village & took a number of shots. Perhaps only folks local to the north east will make the connection between the blip of the ad & the title for the day.
