Once upon a year i had a business called "The wildfood larder" under that umbrella i would sell at Farmers markets, a wide selection of seasonal wild food.
Giant puffballs were one of these foods. Displayed as is. And sold by  the slice @ £1.50/100g. each puffball weigh between 1-2kg. i and my merry band were kept very busy. Bare in mind this was more than a decade ago.
I also did a wildfood box service. Delivered to your door. And supplied a number of restaurants from Bristol - London
