St Michael's
With fellow blipper SilverImages, we enjoyed a full cooked English breakfast in Ross Wye town centre (Herefordshire, UK) before heading to Ewyas Harold (Herefordshire) for some photography.
In the centre of the village, behind the amusingly named Dog Inn (pub) is St Michael and All Angels Church (1100AD+) and the aerial photograph shows it and its medieval churchyard cross.
Right opposite the church is the remains of Ewyas Harold castle (motte and Bailey) which we walked up to for some further photo's, followed by a cuppa from a roadside van in nearby Pontrilas.
A lovely sunny day, in contrast to the last couple of windy and rainy ones, it was lovely to chat about our love of old buildings, photography, and life!
The weekend starts tonight with a visit with friends and neighbours to our local pub. Cardiff City aren't playing this weekend so I expect Mrs BB will have us out walking or cycling! Enjoy your weekend and keep safe!
