Sunshine and blue sky

Finally. 

Helped nice neighbour chop up the first of the fallen trees in the Halls grounds. They got a £900 bill from the arborist for the last (much smaller) one that fell, so I guess we seem like good value, and we get to keep the wood. Even with the chainsaws it's a surprisingly physical task!
Then a volunteer shift. I don't usually do daytime shifts, but we've a new batch of trainees and it's helpful for them to see as many different people taking calls as possible. It was depressingly busy, sad times for lots of folks.
