lock in

Isaac got pretty bored waiting for his sister and her friend to get changed after a swim. I let the girls stay there whilst Isaac and I did some errands and I was honestly terrified in spite of the presence of lifeguards and their proficiency at swimming. This letting go business is a skill I struggle to master.

Three great things from the day:

1. Isaac being super confident and happy in his class assembly;
2. Zeke’s excitement as he set off for cub camp;
3. Tea and a pastry at Libby’s with my big sister.

I had to come back and add a 4th - the almost full moon, still lingering in a bright blue sky as I drove Eve to school at 8am.
