First time

I’ve bought an old Bakelite darning mushroom off eBay so I can repair a very expensive jumper with alpaca wool. I bought this jumper second hand, and have worn it at this time of year for the last 5 years or so. I recently realised that it had been repaired before I bought it as the repair had starting to gape meaning a white shirt was visible underneath- ooops.

This darning mushroom is ace, my repair doesn’t actually look too amateurish. Joyful !
