Chipping

Having mended the chipper during the rain yesterday, our landscaper turned up at 0830, competently reversed his trailer up the drive and offloaded the chipper.  Drove it to the back corner, where there's a "composting dumping" area, protecting the grass with plywood.

He set everything up, then left his workers working and departed, as apparently it's his birthday weekend and he was going away.

By the time the clouds rolled in and it started to rain, at about 1500, this large machine had converted some 200m of hedging to a large pile of wood chips.
