The first to arrive

I took part in the Big Garden Bird Watch this morning and saw a total of 29 birds which is apparently the National average. However, I saw 5 blackbirds and 7 starlings which is above the average. I’m not surprised about the starlings as there are so many round here at the moment. Sadly my wren didn’t make an appearance nor did my Water Wagtail. Dry but cloudy and I spent a couple of hours I the garden.
