Endings, beginnings and a bit of carrying on!

Ending: the last of the red chard.  This was a self sown plant that has survived through last summer and this winter, but it was a plant in the wrong place, so I cut off all the useable bits, shared them with two allotment neighbours and brought my share home.  I must sow some more of this.
Beginning: my first proper session on the allotment.  I have dug over the old courgette bed, added manure and planted up some donated rhubarb  crowns - the result is shown in the extra.
Carrying on: just need to congratulate Maidstone United FC - didn't they do well!!
