But it’s not really. The bracket fungi is well attached to the trunk on the right but the limb on the left has been blown down during one of those recent windy days and is still attached by a few wooden fibres.
I’m on the lookout for quirky shots such as this on these dreich January days; something that is just a wee bit different in the grey sameness around me, but there isn’t a lot that appeals to me. I will keep on trying.
