Busy Day
This morning Mr PP nobly went out to do a food-shop. While he was out, a knight in shining armour turned up in the form of our son-in-law. Not having a beggared hip, he was a little more agile in terms of being able to access pipe-work. So, thanks to his efforts, we hope we have at least a temporary fix with our washing white-goods. Now up-to-date with bedding and towels, until tomorrow. Hope to do another wash then before we head off with son to his abode. (He arrived around lunchtime, having picked up fish'n'chips for all.)
When little Miss B turned her hand to drawing and colouring this afternoon, I was i/c pencil-sharpening. I always find the shavings attractive. Later, I didn't quite shave Mr PP's head, but I did cut his hair well short, as it makes it more comfortable for him during the time post-op when he won't be able to shower or bathe. Not keen on the number 3-4 cut that I've given him, but I sympathise with his rationale. And it'll soon grow again!
Spending the evening quietly with our son, which is always a pleasure, especially when he twiddles on any handy guitar. Though his are all left-handed, he seems to produce super sounds playing a right-handed instrument, too. With all the upheaval of the past few days, and those to come, we are so appreciative of our lovely family.
