dance of the cranes

A sunny day in Berlin. Went for a wee walk around Alexander Platz. That part of town is really busy. Walked past various demonstrations and lots of police - Pro Palestine and counter protests. Onwards to the Humboldt Forum (see extra). Back to Alex via the Museumsinsel. 

Cranes are a big feature in Berlin. Unfortunately few useful things are being built. This is the building site of a new skyscraper that damaged the U2 tunnel. After a few months of disrupted services, they fixed the tunnels and the U Bahn is running again.
