We had a pleasant morning visiting Ocean Terminal to collect the prescription I couldn't get on Thursday because the pharmacist was "out to lunch", the market for baked goods and excellent coffee from Timor Leste (delivered by the Bearded Barista), and then Tiso where between us we bought three pairs of footwear and a pair of (possibly overpriced) innersoles between us.

After a quiet afternoon at home, we headed in to town as I was due to be at the dinner for the Student Mediation competition, which took place in Edinburgh because we won it last year (Eurovision style, you always want to come second....). This year the winners were Queen's University Belfast (see extra), so well done to them, and good luck with the organisation next year. Everyone seemed to have had an amazing day, and our staff team did an excellent job in organising the whole event. I think many people thought it was the best organised event they had ever had in the history of the competition.
