Slip slidding away....
It really doesn't take much to occupy a 5 year old boy. A long piece of vinyl with holes in it and a garden hose attached and you have hours of fun. I took my camera out when I saw my grandson doing tricks on his slip n slide and tried to get a close up action shop without getting me or the camera soaked. Mission accomplished!
The dog kept going over to the puddles of water on the vinyl trying to drink them only to be *swooshed* out of the way by my grandsons warp speed landings and wet slips up the slide. The dog had an entire bowl of fresh water so why he liked the water on the toy slide is anyone's guess. Maybe he was jealous.
After I got this shot I had to run back in the house and get ready for a Surprised 60th BD Party for a friend. It was a great party. A super good band played the entire time. A really full sound and four out of the six members of the band sang! Each one had a unique voice and could sounds like dozenes of different entertainers. The guest of honor was indeed surprised as she told her husband under NO circumstances did she want a party. Haha. Her first words coming thru the door were "Oh Shit"! Then the tears...it was wonderful Her family chipped in as a gift to send them on a cruise to Alaska!! She was on top of the world. It was great to see.
There was so much happiness and love at this party and so much fun too! As it should be when miles stones are reached. Family and friends are everything.
