Too cold for me!

It’s a while since we’ve been down onto the beach, but makes for a better picture than all those reserves! Although cold, we both enjoyed the walk with the sun shining!

I’ve done laundry and a food shop, even buying a piece of steak, which I cooked this evening with a peppercorn sauce. Must be at least two years since I’ve cooked steak! I also cooked a jacket potato - in Ian’s air fryer! I’m still ‘minding’ some bags of his stuff and decided that he’s unlikely to ask for it soon as I’ve had it for over a year. I can’t see what all the fuss is about, it took as long in the air fryer as it would have in the oven, and was not as crispy. It could have been Ian’s ultra cheap model, but I won’t be buying one. 

Mollie had an amazing day today, and is still buzzing! She plays football for Maidstone under 15 girls and several of them travelled up to Ipswich to watch the Stones play Ipswich in the 4th round of the FA cup. Her first big football match, and what a game it was! The Stones (non league) won and their goalie rightfully got man of the match. James played for them in his younger days, so it was great to see them win, and it has given the club some much needed funds!
