Congo Square

Today I visited Congo Square. In days of yore on Sundays our brothers and sisters kept as slaves by white massas were allowed to congregate and play music in "Congo Square". The evil of slavery is gone but the African music will live forever and whiteman / blackman / yellowman / redman will one day cast off the labels our collective massas impose on us and we will surely forge a society where men/women are judged not by their wealth, their clothes or the colour of their skin, but by the colour of their hearts - a measure in which we are all one. This is my dream, I hope it is yours too :)
