Winter Lights
We went to Canary Wharf this evening to see the "Winter Lights" display. There were considerable crowds there - a huge contrast, I think, to a normal Friday night. The displays were varied and fun (my favourite was "Submergence" - a forest of hanging chains of varying coloured LEDs you could walk through). There were also some permanent installations, like "The Clew" shown here, on Cubitt Bridge.
Although I have visited Canary Wharf before, I don't think I have ever walked so far around the development, which is substantial. Worth another visit in daylight, I think - I would certainly like to see the Crossrail Place roof garden in daylight.
