Monsters University

As an adult, I resisted the urge to queue with lots of kids to get a picture with these two so I just tried to take one from the sidelines.

Day 3 of my EIFF binge and it was brilliant. Monsters University was an absolute delight. And let's not forget the beautiful short, The Blue Umbrella, that played before it. Made me laugh, made me cry..in the only way that Pixar can.

Then after a tasty but not entirely cheap lunch at The Fountain, we watched Desert Runners... A documentary about the participants of the crazy 4 Deserts ultramarathons. Absolutely inspiring, moving and entertaining, I was left in complete awe of the feat the people achieved. And it was an extra bonus to have two of the runners there along with the director and producer and director of photography. It really must get distribution as its the most uplifting documentary I have seen in ages. Check out its website.
