Self-Seeded Saplings

Today we had a walk through the snow, and alongside the growing plantation. Here there are lots of self-seeded saplings (of the 'wrong type' of course) burdened down with snow. It is now recognised that mixed plantations tend to grow and survive better, so these 'freebies' will benefit the planted ones. The snow will drop off soon as the temperature is due to be above zero over the next day. So I had to snap this now!
