Last Day of Clicker Expo

I'm attending an online animal training conference from the USA this weekend and it is so inspiring. 

Yesterday I enjoyed 4 sessions; one about training several animals at a time, one about poisoned cues, one about cultivating effective reinforcers and one about chaining behaviours.

We had another slow morning and at noon we went to the training hall for a couple of hours. 

At 4 pm the last day of Clicker Expo started with a session about training zoo animals for fear free handling. We've watched a pelican being trained to show feet to the trainer as apparently they tend to get wounds. And lions being trained to have blood drawn so they can be checked for kidney problems, which apparently is a thing with cats. It is super interesting. 

I'm looking forward to another night of learning.
