Busy Sunday

Moved all the compost into the barn this morning.A long and tedious job involving two tractors and a forklift truck. Becky called in for me to have a look at her brakes and got roped in. We now have a compliment of six weights on the front of the tractor and it is much better but still not perfect.

After lunch I had a look at the front drivers side brake on Becky's car.The wheel has been getting hot.Plenty on the pads and everything looks fine so I gave the brakes a clean and put the wheel back on.Tyre pressures and washer bottle done.

Mowed the back lawn and gave the bus a good wash by which time it was starting to get dark.

A hot bath and an early night is in order and perhaps a glass of Mr MDs famous restorative.I feel I have earned it today.
