In Flight

After coffee - a rather extended affair as a few extra people showed up - I parked at Albert Town by the mouth of the Cardrona River.  I love thistles and there are hundreds of them growing by and near the river before you start to climb.  This bee was very obliging!  A lovely walk with very few people on the track.  The river is very high and in one particular place flooded on the opposite bank.  A small beach I walk past was no beach at all!
