When a brief moment of natural beauty catches you

Early morning,
Driving down the road,
I see on the horizon,
The perfect orange glow,
And I wonder,
Is that the perfect sunrise,
Or am I being too high today?

The perfect orange glow,
Sets my soul alight
With everything the day might send my way.
Driving down the road,
I feel the orange glow,
Deep down inside me,
Filling me up
With sunshine for the day.

And then I think,
If only it could always be like this,
If only I could always be driving down that road,
If only I could merge with the orange,
Jump right in,
Swim around,
Sink down,
And feel warm inside again?
