Globe artichoke

First blip! Jings, not very interesting...

The artichokes are coming into season at the allotment, not sick of them, yet, and friends are still grateful to receive the excess. Later the thank-you smiles will be a bit more forced ;-)

The greenfly are so plentiful, despite the ladybird in the background, because they are protected by a colony of ants living at the base of the plants.
