The Blasted Heath

Football again - rather soon after the scare of Tuesday. The starting eleven was the one which finished strongly against Dundee but blimey, did not the same thing almost happen again. We were lucky to get a goal against us disallowed by VAR and the team escaped off at half time to a muted chorus of boos. But, hey we did it again - a penalty in our favour and Aberdeen collapsed; in the end we settled for 2-0 but it could have been more. Ten points clear in third. Will Shankland stay or is he on his way remains the main talking point.
A swift couple of beers and onto that airport bus to meet the SK out at Ingliston (I was early so had to wait in the Moxy Bar, tsk) and then on to meet up with P&K and A&C to see Macbeth starring the great Ralph Fiennes. It’s had mixed/lukewarm reviews but I enjoyed it muchly. I mean, blimey, written four hundred years ago, and so many winning lines. Duncan was a bit rubbish though, as was Malcolm with his wee earnest laddie voice. Bring back Macbeth, I’d say.
