Not on the water but a short walk from the beach is this rental property - who's owner apparently has not been able to afford a full can of paint at any time. Of course, he doesn't live there. He just rents it out. A lovely neighbor? No, I think not.

We have a LOT of absentee landlords in our neighborhood. You could say that together they do a lot to help the funky beach atmosphere... but that would be a generous way of looking at it.

But I do like the way these color shapes pile on top of each other.

But I am also glad he is not my landlord.
