Higgledy Piggledy Hedge
I've long wanted to photograph small fields with irregular boundaries, particularly those seen in the Dales and the Moors of the north of England. But this Dorset hedge has a very special shape, I feel – winding but well kept and healthy, I'd guess.
I'd like this photo more if I hadn't noticed, only once I had transferred it to my computer, that there were two huge pairs of wires crossing the middle of it. Of course there were HT pylons on either side of the scene, but I had not thought to check for wires in my composition. Oh well . . .
