Hip Hip
Hoorah that I tracked down the Worcester waxwings after getting the heads up they were around again fairly local, yesterday.
Not the greatest of weather and situations really as the flock of about 85 birds was either unreachable too far away or in the dark behind the cover of twigs and branches. They were feeding on the rose hip berries that were depleting rapidly as there were also a few blackbirds competing for the fare too.
I feel quite pleased that I've managed to photograph these birds in Tewkesbury, Malvern, Stroud and Cheltenham too which is amazing really. What a waxwing year it has been and what a bonanza!
