Comin' Down the Mountain

This jeep track snakes around the dammed reservoirs on top of Table Mountain (a neat area inaccessible from the tourist/cable-station part) and gently drops into Constantia Valley. The nicest thing about sleeping on top of a mountain is that your legs don't burn and wobble on the way down, giving you more of a chance to enjoy the scenery, in this case the forest in Constantia and the first vineyards of the wine lands. As with any excursion with kids, we knew we'd succeeded when the ones who'd complained on the way up spent the descent asking about doing it again.
