Walking and talking
Mr PHL continues to improve and today we decided to head to the Cramond foreshore with Phin. I wanted to take a sale purchase jacket back to the outdoors shop in Granton so it made sense to combine the top.
Jacket returned (despite my taking the wrong invoice with me to the shop!) we headed to the foreshore. Managed to get parked and we headed off. Whilst waiting for Mr PHL to finish manoeuvring the car (having originally parked in a blue badge space by mistake), I spotted a celebrity chef go past with his dogs. It was Tom Kitchin but it didn’t feel right to ask him for a selfie.
Had a nice walk, Phin rushed up and down the paths and loved being on the wee bit of shoreline visible due to the tide coming in. He especially loved finding things to much on, mostly shells I think. We had a delicious cup of soup in a wee bistro in Cramond and were in our way back to the car when the rain started.
Traffic going home was a bit of a pain, very busy but we got there eventually. Prepped a pasta bake for dinner and whilst it was baking in the oven we had a catch up call with our son and his wife. Always good to hear what they’ve been up to.
Thanks to steveng for hosting MonoMonday with the theme of travelling. I loved being in the Azores last year and bought this wee tin of anchovies as they’re a big export from there.
