Post perching gulls.

While walking Chloe along the canal, I liked the idea of the gulls perching on these fence posts like so many music notes.
I have heard that gulls are the souls of sailors lost at sea. As these probably never see the sea, maybe there was a fair bit of carnage among canal boatmen once upon a time!
