Well Hidden

This afternoon I discovered a guinea fowl sitting on I don't know how many eggs under the neighbours' walnut tree.  When guinea fowl are sitting there are always two or three 'minders' keeping watch and that's how I knew there must be a nest close by.  Guinea fowl are careless mothers and as soon as the eggs hatch (if they aren't eaten by a sharp eyed hawk) I will transfer the keets and their mother to a coop.
