A lovely day belatedly celebrating my birthday up in London. Drove round to St. Albans, got the train in with Benji et al, and headed to Dishoom for a delicious breakfast with Sami, Mike, and Tom. Both Mike and Tom’s first experience of the almighty breakfast naans, lucky devils. A wander along the canal, two trips inside the bookshop boat for Benji, and a quick drink in The Lighterman before we all parted ways, me heading back to St. Albans for the evening.

Aimee’s parents very kindly babysat in the evening so the three of us could go out for a meal and some drinks for the first time since the little one was born! It was absolutely lovely!
