I'm not sure what the real name is, but I've always called it sea holly. It's very sharp and resists all attempts to pick it for a dried flower arrangement. I took it for mono Monday, oblivious to the fact that it doesn't fit the allotted theme, but so what? I couldn't care less (or in the USA I could care less - what nonsense is that?). Yes I'm in a grumpy mood today. Went to the GP for help in losing weight and she said I'm not fat enough! Advised swimming (I can't), cycling (balance issues) and running (metalwork in leg makes this extremely painful), eating less (I eat little as it is, despite the occasional Food Porn pics). Oh well - first world problems...
