Once was grand

I took this photo out of the bus. This was once a grand building. The Odeon picture theater. For 13 years it has sat behind massive shipping containers in case it fell down after huge damage inflicted in our 2011 earthquake. At last, in 2024, work has begun to restore this beautiful piece of our history. It will be a huge project
