Singing his heart out

Our resident robin sings from the top of the tree whatever the season. It's probably not the same robin but son of robin and son of son of robin etc

It wasn't as bad at the dental hygienist as it had been last time. Reflected in the lower cost of treatment. It seems I've been a good girl and managed to keep the dreaded plaque at bay. I still needed two shots of anaesthetic in the lower jaw to be able to cope with the cleaning process. And I don't have to go back again until July.

We celebrated with toasted egg and bacon sarnies at Finkins before driving on to the Toyota garage in Loughborough, now renamed Vertu Toyota. I had been nagging Len about replacing one of the windscreen wipers since he'd pulled out the rubber last week, saying it would still work.

He was anxious about going into the store to ask but in the end it was easy.  A salesman came out with the replacement, pulled off the old wiper and clicked in the new.
