Mono Monday: Week 523 ...

... traveling.

Almost 40 years ago (WHAT!?!) we spent the first three months of our marriage traveling the country in a motor home.  This is the map that we used and marked along the way.  Please keep in mind that this was way before Google maps and cell phones made traveling much easier! 

We were lucky enough to have the time off our jobs and the funds to take this marvelous trip around our beautiful country.  We are known as 50-Staters as we have been to all 50 States.  They weren't all visited during this one trip but over the past 40 years we have been to all 50 of our beautiful States!

And since our 40th wedding anniversary is this year we are starting to plan another trip somewhere ... we just haven't narrowed down the 'where' quite yet.
