Limbless

We had to drop our campervan into the garage for some repairs so took the opportunity to walk home through Gore glen.
It’s a lovely winding path along the river and nicely sheltered from the wind whipping it up again today. This poor tree has lost a limb very recently but the rest of it looks ok. It is my marker tree - on the odd occasion that I run down the glen, I turn back at this tree (the Alex tree, someone has carved the name into the bark).
