Meet Grip

There is an Antony Gormley installation on the rocks near the cottage we are staying in. It arrived in 2015 and was leaving the following year but liked it so much it stayed.
Glorious morning, early walk and then watched to sun appear, brilliant.
We walked to the picnic cottage with a flask of hot chocolate, met a couple of folk on the beach and Hetty had a great time running around.
We love Saddell and I think it might have something to do with Paul McCartney and Mull of Kintyre as this is where he filmed the video, cottage in extra appears in the video.
Out for a walk up the hill in the afternoon and chatted to a local that told us Stella was staying in the big house last year, how cool is that, and Rev. Richard Cole stayed in the cottage we currently have a few weeks ago, but I don’t really like him so not that interested.
Such a wonderful day, sun shining and chilly but dry.
