a shortie afternoon

A post-winter warm-up drive of Mollie this afternoon, up to the owl fields east of Cheltenham. I intended to meet up with Sheol but failed entirely to do so. Nonetheless, and happily, I bumped into JDO. 

Sheol got his shortie uploaded before me, and I look forward to seeing what JDO comes up with. These are some of my better shots - there were lots and lots of not-better shots and I appear to be a diva at photographing owl's bottoms...

Even with the 1.4x teleconverter on the Hubble this is a decent crop. Even so, an enjoyable afternoon with added roe deer, hares, kestrels and red kites. I shall return.
