Witch hazel tree

This is a giant witch hazel tree which I passed on my way to the Cameo, on a beautiful day, with a not quite cloudless sky, but pretty blue.
 
I was at the Cameo to see Dvořák’s opera Rusalka in a performance filmed last March at the Royal Opera House which was excellent. It was a very memorable production, particularly because of Lithuanian soprano, Asmik Grigorian who sang the lead role.
