A grey day!
This morning was another Foodbank morning - they do seem to come round quickly. Fairly busy but steady - and no major surprises so that’s good. One of our ‘regular’ clients has just found out that his PIP has finally been sorted - and they owe him £7000! This poor guy has been struggling for months and has been passed from pillar to post - the system is so broken. At least he won’t be hungry now.
Did a foodbank emergency delivery on the way home - but not sure that the client wasn’t egging the truth a little! Then to the cash and carry as we had almost run out of disposable cups - our clients wouldn’t want to miss out on a cuppa! Then to the recycling centre to dump all of the card - and our foodbank duties were almost done for the day - apart from more computer work!!
